Mother’s Day will be here before you know it. But don’t panic.

While some brunches have sold out, there is no reason anyone has to go hungry. There are still plenty of delicious options available to choose from.

🌼Dayton Art Institute Brunch 

**THIS EVENT HAS SOLD OUT**

A brunch that will really catch your mother off guard if you keep it a surprise, the Dayton Art Institute is once again hosting its annual Mother’s Day Brunch in the Shaw Gothic Cloister. This event fills up fast, so advanced registration is required.

There are two seatings for this special brunch. The 11 a.m. is nearly full but there are still a number of openings for the 1 p.m. seating.

Enjoy a brunch buffet provided by Bernstein's Fine Catering, featuring fresh fruits, spring salads, flavorful meat and seafood choices, and mouth-watering desserts. Iced tea, orange juice and coffee are included, plus a cash bar for soft drinks, wine, beer and specialty drinks will also be available.

Brunch guests will be seated at shared tables of eight. NEW this year: reserve private tables of 2 or 4 people for an additional $10/person.

Reservations for Lily’s brunch have been filled but why not think outside of the box and take mom to Lily’s famous Chicken Dinner from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.?

It’s still a good idea to call 937-723-7637 and reserve a spot.

Walk-ins for dining are still welcome and if weather permits the restaurant plans to also have its side patio open.

A delicious buffet will be prepared at Troy’s fabulous Caroline restaurant. Though reservations are going quickly they still have some space available.

🌼Mother's Day at The Golden Jersey Inn 

The Golden Jersey Inn doesn’t take reservations and plans to serve all day long.

Mom will be queen of the dairy farm during The Golden Jersey Inn’s Mother’s Day buffet celebration. “They’ll even clean up the dishes.”

Breakfast ($14.95 & ages 4 to 10- $5.95.) is served from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Brunch and dinner is $21.95 including beverage and dessert. Age 4 to 10 will be $8.95 and ages 3 and under eat for free. The regular menu will not be available during Mother’s Day Brunch.

🌼Train Ride with Brunch 

Looking for a different experience? How about taking mom on the Lebanon Mason Monroe Railroad for a special Brunch Experience. Tickets are still available.

“You will travel on a historic train between Lebanon, OH and Hageman Junction. During your ride you can listen to our informative passenger conductors describe railroad history and operations,” according to the event page. “All mothers riding in General Admission coach will receive a special gift. Passengers enjoying the Brunch Experience will be seated in our Deluxe Car #3200. After the train ride, you will be escorted to the Warren County Conference Center to attend a buffet style brunch.”
